The 5VX series belts are a cogged wedge style v belt with a standard 5/8″ width. 5VX v belts are a perfect to applications that require high power transmission levels where limited space is a factor. These belts produce higher horsepower ratings from both the wedge feature and the raw edge construction. Two additional features is that the cogs/notches allow for better flexibility on small diameter pulleys and helps the belt run cooler in high temp applications. 5VX belts are also available in the non-cogged version, which are the 5V series v belts
